2nd October 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We were shown the results of the last patient survey completed in November 2011. Positive feedback from the survey indicating that people were happy with the service they received. For example:

“My dentist and dental nurse were amazing and helped me relax”.

“Brilliant service”.

“I felt confident that I was in good hands”.

We spoke with one person who has had conscious sedation. We were told, “I have been coming to this practice for years. It’s the best surgery I have used. I have had the sedation several times as I feel it’s the best way for me being so nervous. It’s always explained to me very well and I am looked after so well

We asked patients to tell us what they thought about the cleanliness of the surgery and if they felt staff practised high standards of hygiene when attending them. We were told:

“The environment is very clean”.

“Staff always wash their hands”.

“I am asked to wear goggles and an apron to protect myself”.
