1st January 1970 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During and after our visit we spoke with four people about their care and treatment. Everybody told us that the dentist had spent time discussing their treatment plan. One person said: "The dentist is very good and kind". Everybody we spoke with was very complimentary about the care they received. One person commented in a recent survey: ‘Most thorough, clean and nice manner definitely would come again’.

Records showed that the dentist had assessed and discussed the different treatment options that were available to patients and that observations were recorded.

The practice was located on the first floor of a commercial building. We saw that the design, layout and security of the premises was fit for purpose and met the needs of everyone receiving care and treatment including those with disabilities.

We saw that there were systems in place at this practice to reduce the risk and spread of infection. During our visit we spoke to clinical staff at the practice. They were aware of the safe practices required to meet the essential standards of department of health guidance.
