18th October 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two people who used the service during our visit. People told us they felt comfortable asking questions about their treatment and that treatment options were explained to them in a way that they could understand. One young person told us, “I don’t mind coming here, it doesn’t hurt and the dentist is nice”. This person’s mother told us she was grateful that the service was local to her son, as previously she had had to travel to Cambridge for her children’s treatment.

We found that the provider was compliant in all the areas we assessed. Infection control and decontamination processes were satisfactory and ensured people were protected from the risk of infection. Staff felt supported in their work and received training to ensure their skills and knowledge were kept up to date.
