As part of our review of the service we seek the views of people using the service. We do this by speaking with people and asking them to tell us their views. For this review, we asked the dentist to give people using their service questionnaires to complete. We also spoke with three people directly.

Forty- seven questionnaires were returned.

From speaking directly to people and information contained in the questionnaires. This told us that people were assessed to decide what dental and oral healthcare they need. Treatment that was given to people was discussed and options were available. Treatment was carried out in a satisfactory way.

Comments included:

“Clear information given that is easily understood’’.

“Staff are very helpful, friendly, and supportive’’

“Staff and the dentist are friendly and reassuring’’.

“Very good dentist, clean surgery and welcoming staff ’’.

We saw records relating to the treatment and assessments undertaken by the dentist to ensure the dentist had the relevant information about each individual.
