5th October 2012 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four patients on the day of our visit. Everyone was happy with the service provided. They told us that treatment was explained to them in a way they understood and they were clear, in advance, about the fees they would have to pay.

Patients said the dentist was “very patient and caring” and “very thorough”. The overall quality of service was described as “brilliant” and “wonderful” by patients. One person commented that the practice was “a good service for children”. Another said, “I’m 100% confident in the dentist”.

Patients ‘agreed’ or ‘strongly agreed’ that the treatment room always appeared clean and tidy. Effective systems for infection control were being implemented in the practice and dental instruments were safe to use.

There was a complaints system in place and this was widely advertised to patients. No complaints had been received at the service in the last year.
