13th January 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People told us they were happy with the care provided and were given plenty of information regarding their care or treatment. Records of people who used the service showed there were appropriate systems in place to gain people’s valid consent for the treatment received. Comments we received included:

"Everything has been spot on, appointment time, information, the whole process. “

“I felt so reassured as I knew what was happening.”

“Plenty of time with me, no rushing, felt safe and in good hands.”

People were protected from unsafe or unsuitable equipment because the Provider had systems in place to make sure equipment was properly maintained, suitable for its purpose and used correctly.

People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. People who used the service were very complimentary about the staff and their skills. Their comments included:

“(Name of Radiographer) seemed very knowledgeable and this gave me confidence.”

“Very knowledgeable indeed, made me feel comfortable and at ease.”

The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
