5th November 2013 - During a routine inspection
The clinic had no appointments scheduled on the day of our inspection so we did not have the opportunity to speak with people who used the service. However, we saw recently completed satisfaction surveys. These indicated that people were happy with the service provided and that the staff had dealt with their needs effectively and efficiently. Comments included, “We loved visiting you, you always made us feel comfortable and welcome. The clinic is stunning, warm and inviting, we cannot thank you enough for the lovely personal service you gave us.” Another comment made was, “We cannot express our gratitude enough and praise the staff highly enough as nothing seemed to be too much trouble and any questions we had were answered. The staff are very knowledgeable and clearly have vast experience in their craft. We cannot praise this clinic and its staff enough.” The provider had suitable arrangements in place for obtaining and acting in accordance with the consent of people who used the service. Comments from people who used the service included, “The Doctor talked us through exactly what to expect and what was and was not necessary. No grey areas or head scratching, just clear confident facts.” The Oaks Clinic was fresh, clean and tidy and provided a comfortable environment. The provider demonstrated a clear understanding of how to respond appropriately to any complaints however, there had not been any complaints received by the service since registration in July 2011.
27th February 2013 - During a routine inspection
On the day of our inspection the Oaks Clinic was closed and therefore we did not have the opportunity to speak with people who used the service. The provider had clear systems in place to obtain people’s feedback. We saw recently completed satisfaction surveys. The results of the surveys indicated that people were very happy with the service provided and that the staff had dealt with their needs effectively and efficiently. Comments included, “The Oaks is an amazing place with amazing people. I felt reassured, cared for and that I was in the hands of professionals who not only knew exactly what they were doing but really cared about what they were doing.” Another person had said, “From the moment we walked in we were impressed by the clean, smart and professional look of The Oaks Clinic. We felt relaxed and well taken care of.” The Oaks Clinic was very clean and tidy and provided a comfortable environment.
