10th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We reviewed all the information we had gathered about The Orthodontic Practice Liverpool, looked at the personal care and treatment records of people who use the service, carried out a visit on the 10th of January 2013 and looked at how people were cared for at each stage of their treatment. We talked with staff and received feedback from people by looking at comment cards and records from patient satisfaction surveys.

On the day of our inspection, there were no patients available for us to speak with however we saw evidence from returned comments cards from people who used the service. We saw positive feedback from patients and comments included:

" Thank you so much for my perfect smile"

"Cost effective high quality treatment that was clearly explained. Thank you so much"

We saw that the treatment room, decontamination room, waiting area and other communal areas were clean and tidy. There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies and all staff had been provided with emergency resuscitation training.
