7th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with three patients who had just received a check-up or treatment. One patient told us: "The dentist is always good and professional. He explains the procedure, discusses alternatives and always keeps me very well informed."

Another patient said:

"He's very thorough, doesn't do anything unnecessary. He explains alternatives, but lets you make your own choice. He's very pleasant to deal with."

Another patient said: "He's really friendly. Has an excellent manner with the kids. I think it's a really good family dentist, couldn't be better."

We found that patients were treated courteously and that there were attempts to obtain patient feedback about the service.

We found that the systems and processes for cleaning and sterilising instruments were adequate.

We found that the staff were involved in monitoring the quality of the service and that attention was given to ensuring the health and welfare of patients attending the dentist.
