8th May 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Before people received treatment they were asked for their written consent. We saw records to confirm this.

People told us that the care and treatment they received was very good. We looked at the records and medical histories were recorded in the majority of cases. We also found the reviews were not always documented. One person told us "The service is fantastic and staff are friendly and attentive".

The practice had a safeguarding lead and followed best practice. We spoke to staff and they knew who to report any concerns to. We spoke to people who used the service and they told us that they felt safe.

The practice was clean and hygienic. People told us that the practice was always clean.

Staff felt supported in their roles and received regular training. People we spoke with told us that they felt staff were well trained.

The service requested the views of people who used the service. There were also effective monitoring and assessing processes to ensure people’s welfare and safety
