13th August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our inspection we spoke with five staff and two patients who visited the practice that day. We reviewed four patient records and made observations throughout the inspection. We spoke to two other patients on the telephone following our visit.

Patients said they felt well informed about their treatment and were always advised of the individual options available to them. When asked if they were treated with dignity and respect, each patient agreed.

Patients told us that the service was “Excellent” because the dentists offered clear explanations and choices. Comments about the care and treatment were positive and included “They couldn’t do any more to make sure I was happy”.

During our visit we saw that all areas of the practice were clean and hygienic. Patients we spoke with commented positively and described the cleanliness of the environment as “It’s always very clean” and “It’s spotless here.”

There were quality arrangements in place and patients were encouraged to comment on the service. One patient told us “My family are really happy to come here.” Another patient told us “I’m so happy, that I have recommended this place to family and friends.”
