1st July 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During and after our visit we spoke with five people who all commented positively on their experience of care at this practice. People told us they took part in discussions about their care with their dentist. They understood the treatment choices available to them and why the treatment was needed. One person told us about their dentist: "He is caring, he gives you enough information to make a decision."

People we spoke with told us that they were happy with the care they received with one person saying: "I trust him." Another person said their dentist had put them at their ease and allayed their fears.

During our visit we looked at the practices decontamination processes. The practice had dedicated decontamination rooms and procedures in place for the effective decontamination of instruments.

The practice regularly monitored the quality of their service. They ensured that regular safety checks of their equipment and emergency procedures were carried out.
