Patients that we spoke with told us they were informed of their treatment plans. One person said, ‘’I am given all the information I need.’’

Patients that we spoke with told us they were very happy with their treatment. One person told us, ’’Both my sons are patients, they (the dentist and staff) are really good.’’

We discussed infection control and the sterilisation of equipment and instruments with the dental nurse. The dental nurse was responsible for, and trained in, these procedures. We observed how the nurse prepared and cleaned the surgery between patients.

All staff had Criminal Records Bureau checks completed for registration with the General Dental Council. These checks confirmed that individuals working in the surgery are of sound character.

We saw the results from the patients’ survey this provided information that the practice could develop on. The survey overall provided very positive feedback about the experiences of people using the service.
