9th July 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our inspection we obtained the views of five patients. Patients were positive about the service they received. Their comments included “I always discuss treatment and alternatives with the dentist”, “Excellent. Very happy with the treatment I receive at this clinic” and “No complaints, happy with the treatment”.

We saw evidence that a range of assessments were completed during each dental examination. Patients had their treatment options explained to them, and leaflets were available for them to take away to consider their options.

The dental practice was clean and tidy and appropriate procedures to decontaminate dental instruments were carried out.

Patients knew how to make a complaint, and any complaints made were dealt with appropriately.
