This was a follow up inspection which focused on areas of concern identified during the last inspection. It was not necessary to speak with people as the issues related to administrative procedures within the practice.

We found that the provider had made improvements to the service. Robust checking procedures had been introduced to ensure that the practice was equipped to deal with foreseeable emergencies. We also found that appropriate checks had been undertaken on all staff to vet their character and suitability for employment.

We spoke with people who use the service and they told us that they were happy with the service provided at the practice. One person told that the dentist and staff made them feel at ease and that everyone was friendly. One person told us that they had been using the dentist for a long time and that they were always well informed about treatment. They also commented on how they liked that the dentist would send text message reminders for appointments. We found concerns in relation to medical emergency equipment at the practice and staff vetting.
