People told us they were treated with respect and dignity when they attended Werrington Dental Practice. One person said, “They are polite and professional, but also very friendly”.

People using the service said they were fully involved in decisions about their care, and the dentist always explained any treatment needs. They told us they felt comfortable to ask questions about the treatments available and things were explained clearly to them. A relative who accompanied a person during treatment said, “They always explain the treatment and the options available. It’s very good”.

We saw there were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. People we spoke with said everything always looked clean and they were satisfied with the standards of cleanliness. We saw there were good standards of hygiene and infection control practices in place.

We saw that there was a sufficient number of appropriately skilled and knowledgeable staff available to meet peoples needs.

We found that records were kept up to date, were accurate and secure.
