22nd October 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients were given information about the treatment options, including the costs. This meant they could make an informed decision about their preferred choice of treatment. Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes.

Patients spoke highly of the dental service provided at West Street Dental Practice. They said they were always pleased with the standard of treatment they received.

Staff were supported to complete training to ensure they had the relevant skills and knowledge to keep their professional registration up to date.

There was an effective complaints process. Patients knew how to make a complaint and were confident that any complaints made would be responded to appropriately.
