16th September 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People we spoke with told us that they were very satisfied with the service provided. They shared positive experiences of their care and treatment. Comments included, “I feel I get a good service and have every faith in my dentist” and, “If I was ever worried about my teeth, I know I can go there and I’d be listened to. My dentist would be honest with me and not do anything that I don’t need doing”.

We saw that there were suitable arrangements for the cleaning, sterilising and storing of instruments. Staff were able to describe these procedures to us confidently. Staff had received training to reduce the risk of cross infection.

All the staff we spoke with told us they felt well supported and confirmed they had received all the training they needed to carry out their job effectively. They told us they worked well as a team.

People told us they had not had cause to complain about the service but were confident any concerns raised would be listened to and addressed.
